About
Governance
The Trust was originally constituted on 4th May 1988 as a charity, registered in Scotland (no. SC 019966).
The committee meets monthly in the Forth Bridge Heritage Centre at the Railway Station.
Objectives
To stimulate public interest in and to care for the beauty, history and character of North Queensferry and the immediate surroundings.
To encourage, preserve, develop and improve features of historic, architectural or environmental value.
To encourage a high standard of architecture and town & country planning.
Current Projects
The Trust organises a number of exhibitions and events throughout the year to which both members and the public are invited. This also includes our annual village show which takes place in September. Check the events page for details.
Village Life Project
It was proposed at the start of this millennium that the Trust should undertake a project to record village life and property by way of photography, film or recordings. At this stage in the discussions, if anyone has any material by way of artefacts or old photographs which might be suitable please contact us.
