The North Queensferry Golf Course
From a 9-hole course in 1890, the course rapidly grew to 18 holes then was redesigned twice more by 1920.
However from 1922 Cruicks Quarry gradually encroached on the course, forcing two major redesigns.
Dunfermline Golf Club abandonment the course in 1928 and moved to a new course at Torrie. The Ferryhills course was then taken over by the Ferryhills Golf Club for the use of local members. It ran until 1940.
