Census 1911 at North Cliff Lodge, William Anderson (19) born Broughty Ferry, Domestic Gardener, son of George (61) Domestic Gardener and Ann.

Assumed to have moved south for employment and enlisted in the local regiment.
Killed in action (presumed to be in the battle of Le Transloy, Somme. During this two day battle the battalion had 15 officers and 242 other ranks killed).
