The Light Tower is open as often as possible from 10:00am to 4:30pm – weather permitting.

Ticket prices

Admission to Tower only is free of charge.

Lighting the lamp and getting the certificate is £8.00 including a “History Bridged” CD – the story of the Queensferry Passage.

Given the nature of access and steepness of the internal stairs, this is not suitable for people with walking difficulties as only one person can be accommodated at any time. We also regret that children under 6 years old cannot be admitted to the Light Tower or light the Lamp without the accompaniment of a parent or guardian.

Advance booking is recommended due to the size of the attraction.
